Bad River

A truly unique northwoods fish camp experience on the Bad River Indian reservation.  Coordinating with Superior Guides and Outfitters out of Ashland, Wisconsin allows for access to a river that is otherwise off limits to non-tribal members. Since the early 90’s SGO has been operating as a big game outfitter on private land within the Bad River Reservation. Approximately two hundred square miles of wilderness, the Bad River reservation one of the most remote sections of Northern Wisconsin, and home to one of the most pristine river systems in the state.  The upper Bad River is surrounded almost entirely by tribal land and SGO’s river camp is the only access for non-tribal members.  The extreme lack of fishing pressure and harvest means healthy and mature populations of native fish.  Musky and smallmouth Bass are the primary target of our fishing trips on this isolated, wild water and the opportunity for a trophy specimen is about as good as it gets in our region.

The river camp is only accessible by four-wheeler from the main SGO camp, and guests have the option of staying in the full-service lodge or in the more rustic river camp.  Meals are included in the package as well so be prepared for some awesome camp cooking!

Cost:  2 day, 2 night package for 2 anglers- $2000
